Sound System

Im getting a new car soon and just wanted some advice on the sound system. Im not familiar with this at all since I never owned a car

. I want a real good sound system so any information on the stuff I should be looking for is appreciated

well I dont want something really really expensive. I can spend up to 2000 CAD and can spend more if needed

It depends on where ya live, but Rockford Fosgate (sp?) is pretty good. Depending on the car, two 10"s or 12"s would hit pretty damned hard. Get some nice highs, a good amp, a sweet deck and your car will be bumpin'.

Might want to look into a W7 or something also. Not as familiar with sound systems as Id like, but I ride more than i drive...and I've yet to figure out how to get a good system onto a sportbike

I know some. Dont have as I would like. W7 are nice but cost a lil much

I got 2 12 TMX Thunder 8000. They bump good. Dont cost too much. I just have kenwood 150watt 6 and half compents in my car to replace the factory ones till i get get 1 grand to put good ones in

Just did the system in my wife's truck for her b-day / pregnancy . . .
Haven't changed out the head yet, but did boston acoustic seperates in the doors ( 4 doors ) and a senter channel in the dash. 2 JL Audio 10's under the back seat and an alpine 5 channel amp to drive them all. kinda like the effect of the factory head and the custom components, from the outside you cant tell its updated. inside will turn your innards
