I've thought about playing off and on, but the fun was more in the people than the gameplay.

I do have a level 9 druid on the EQ Mac server, Al'kabor (which is 100% free now, not just F2P -- just need a Mac). It has the expansions up to PoP and the level 65 cap.

Maybe it's not saving your character before the transfer? So it only copies everything done since the last save? I had a bag claimed from HoT, but I had claimed it previously to yesterday. It came across fine.

On live -- server transfers are allowed and cost $ except for transfers to FV and the PVP server, I think. Those are free -- they're trying to get more people on them due to low pop. Transfers to the progression servers and maybe a couple others(?) aren't allowed. I think I'll probably move Yrys to ...

Oh wow, they are. Starting around June 9, 2011, and continuing for at least 30 days, the /servertransfer command will be available on the Test Server. Simply type /servertransfer and you will be given the option to transfer your character to any live server aside from the Time Locked Progression ...

Are transfers allowed off Test now, then?

Mac EQ and Windows EQ are very out-of-sync. You'll probably need to install Windows...
