now that they have opened all races/classes, I've considered starting over on the rathe, just dificult to abandon all the time I've spent on my toons on test, wish I would've been active when they did the transfers

Been on test a few times just no old faces, love the free gold membership been playing rift as my main game and dabbling in lord of the rings and eq2 on occasion

as of now I can log all my toons on test, who knows how long before they take that away though, seemed to be quite a few folks playing on test over 200 when I was doing my /who's seems like tribe and entropy have a pretty good following, only "ONE" name I recognized out of all the people playing ...

EQ2's isn't as restrictive I've been dabbling with it, wish I could play a ranger but having fun with a warrior/cleric combo though freeport server if anyone ever wants to hook up Gorskaul and Skaulgor, got a host of toons on the EZ server on EQ emulator having a blast there very similar population ...

hell with that, unless they let test players have full access I probably wont un-emulate my installations the way it all looks now I wouldn't even be able to play any of my characters under the free to play lol...

so hearing the rumors of EQ going free to play I'm definetly coming back but is test server sticking around with my toons on it or they going to allow a transfer or am I completely screwed and have to start fresh? anyone have any insight into this?

Much older crowd in Rift compared to WoW and you don't have to worry about the horrible account security that blizzard has. The PVP in Rift is fun the Warfronts are similar to battlefronts but more meaningful and more rewarding. I'm currently level 25 and I havent run out of stuff to do yet.
